Scott Fenwick

PT, HBScPT, CGFL

Scott Fenwick PT, HBScPT, CGFL obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science Degree at Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2000. Scott is a member in good standing with CPA, OPA and past member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. Scott holds a special interest in sports injuries, manual therapy, orthopaedics and out patient therapy.

Having worked in Scotland for 1 1/2 years, Scott returned to the Niagara Region where he has worked since 2001. While developing his skills in multiple clinics to further his career, Scott was the lead physiotherapist for the Canadian National Soccer team for 6 years. Scott took ownership of his first clinic 2007.

Married with two young daughters, Scott can be found with his family, on the golf course, cycling through the picturesque Niagara Region or training for a Triathlon. Scott is happy to bring his wealth of experience to team with Tania to form the premier Physiotherapy clinic in Niagara.

Christopher Dekker

PT, BPhEd, DPT

Christopher Dekker PT, BPhEd, DPT, is a graduate from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2006, earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He practiced in the United States for seven years, spending two years doing homecare throughout Niagara County, NY, and the next five years working in a busy outpatient orthopaedic clinic in Lewiston, NY. He then came back home to the Niagara Region where he spent the next 10 years working at a busy outpatient clinic in St. Catharines. Through his employment, he gained a great deal of experience in rehabilitation of various orthopaedic and neurological pathologies and post operative rehabilitation. He also has experience working with athletes from Niagara University, the US and Swiss Figure skating and Speed Skating Olympic Teams, and professional hockey and lacrosse players.

Christopher is a member in good standing of The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, the orthopaedic division of the CPA, and the Ontario Physiotherapy Association. Through his professional associations, he has had extensive training in shoulder rehabilitation, vestibular and vertigo rehabilitation, as well as concussion management.

Away from the clinic, Christopher enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter and cheering his children on at soccer or hockey games throughout Ontario.

Zayd Aboaen

PT, BScH

Zayd Aboaen, PT, BSCH is a physiotherapist at Fortius Physiotherapy and Wellness. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences with Honours at Brock Univeristy from 2014-2018. Zayd continued his education in the United Kingdom and completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at Brunel University London (2019-2022).

Zayd enjoys assisting individuals throughout their rehabilitation and achieving their goals.

Zayd enjoys sports related physiotherapy and has volunteered as a trainer for high school SOSSA football and OFSAA hockey tournaments. In his spare time, Zayd enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and is an avid sports fan that can be found watching and playing soccer any chance he can get.

Danielle Stark

M.OmSc, BScH HK, Neur

Danielle is an Ostcan certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. She obtained her B.Sc Hons Human Kinetics degree with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Guelph, and her Masters in Osteopathic Manual Science from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.

Osteopathic science has a focus on the innate health of the body, aiming to improve the structural function of the body to allow the deeper cellular function within the soft tissues and organ systems to thrive. Utilizing her past experience in athletic therapy, kinesiology, biomechanics research and geriatric physical therapy, Danielle is well equipped to help her patients get to a place where they are physically able to maintain health.

In addition to her academics, Danielle continues to be involved within the dance community as a choreographer across the GTA. She is also an avid snowboarder, runner, beach enthusiast, and lover of all animals big and small.

Jennifer Lapierre

PT, DPT

Jennifer Lapierre PT, DPT, is a physiotherapist at Fortius Physiotherapy and Wellness Niagara. She graduated from D'Youville College in 2008. While at D’Youville, she was a well decorated Scholar Athlete which included the Varsity  Volleyball and Varsity Softball Teams. She continues to enjoy playing volleyball, softball, lawnbowling and golf outside of work.

She has worked in a variety of settings including acute and post acute rehab in hospitals, long term stay facilities and other sports and injury rehab physiotherapy clinics. Jennifer also has a special interest in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion management.

Coleen Martuccio

Registered Massage Therapist

Coleen Martuccio RMT, CK, BKin, graduated from McMaster University with her Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree. After working as a Kinesiologist for over 16 years in Physiotherapy and Multidisciplinary Clinics, she decided to return to school, and in 2017 graduated with Honours from the Ontario College of Health and Technology and became a Registered Massage Therapist. Coleen is a Registered member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (CKO) and is a member of the Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

Having worked now for almost 4 years as a massage therapist, Coleen utilizes many of her kinesiology skills and experience to create a unique massage therapy treatment. She loves applying her knowledge to help treat many different conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, edema, TMJ disorders, sinus congestion, pregnancy, abdominal issues, sports related injuries and post surgical rehabilitation to name a few. She enjoys doing therapeutic and relaxation massage, and is certified in soft tissue release and Cupping therapy. She has also been doing Reflexology for over 25 years and will often incorporate this into her treatments.

Outside of work, Coleen enjoys her spare time with her husband and 2 daughters skiing, travelling, visiting family, playing sports, or just hanging out at home. Helping coach her daughter’s volleyball team, or cheering her daughters on at soccer games or arial silks performances is always a highlight of her day.

Melissa Hood

Registered Dietitian

Melissa Hood is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes. She obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Food in Nutrition from Ryerson University and then went on to complete her Dietetic Internship at The Hospital for Sick Children. She is a member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario.

Melissa has a very balanced approach to nutrition, she does not not believe in “quick fixes” and really believes that being healthy and living a healthy, balanced lifestyle, in terms of nutrition, exercise and mental wellbeing, is key.

Dayne Orr

Registered Kinesiologist

Dayne Orr is a Registered Kinesiologist here at Fortius Physiotherapy & Wellness Niagara. She graduated from Brock University in 2011, where she obtained her Bachelor's of Kinesiology Degree (Honours). She comes with experience in both a Retirement and Clinical setting. She is certified in Soft Tissue Release techniques, RockTape and Concussion prevention, detection and management. She is very caring and compassionate towards her patients and loves to help them reach their goals and succeed in overall health and movement. On her days off, Dayne enjoys time spent outdoors on her paddleboard, spending time with family, playing volleyball and taking trips... mainly to Disney!

Belinda Hartwick

Physiotherapist Assistant

Belinda Hartwick is a Physiotherapist Assistant at Fortius. She graduated from the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant Program at Niagara College in 2017. She has a passion for helping others succeed in reaching their goals and she strives to learn and grow in her skills. In her spare time she enjoys baking, spending time with family, and being outdoors, whether it be running, hiking, camping, or fishing.

Shauna Priebe

Physiotherapist Assistant

Shauna Priebe (Pierrynowski) graduated from the Physiotherapy Assistant program in 2008. She has her certification as a Personal Trainer (2009), soft tissue release, aquatic rehabilitation, and a diploma as a Holistic Nutritionist. Currently finishing off her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, she has training in Pre-natal, Senior and trauma sensitive yoga. On her days off you can catch her in her element of the outdoors and on the water. She enjoys yoga, paddle boarding, hiking, backcountry camping, bonfires and being with her family and friends.
